Case 2: A one-room apartment for singles with blocks as an accent
Apartment in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City
Concrete Block Masonry
The building uses concrete block masonry construction, which is rare in Japan. The beautiful, inorganic simplicity of the concrete blocks is used as an accent for the exterior and interior of the apartment.
In the case of rental apartments, tenants have a wide variety of tastes. We value simplicity that matches any furniture and fabric, and we focused on ease of use, such as providing ample storage space even in a limited space.
The storage shelves, which allow you to neatly store electrical appliances, are movable and can be adjusted in height.
For ease of use, there is an electrical outlet inside.
▲The view from the balcony. The interior and exterior walls are made from the same concrete blocks, creating a playful design.
Since the room itself is simple, it is recommended to use vivid furniture and design lighting like this.
